EA Sports x Off-Pitch Event: A Celebration of Street Football and FIFA23 Launch

On Saturday 4th March, EA Sports and Off-Pitch Arena joined forces to host an event that celebrated the launch of Off-Pitch Arena in FIFA23 and showcased the best of street football. The event took place at Off-Pitch Arena, a unique venue that features the cracked ice court, and drew in some of the best street football players and freestylers from all over the world.

The centerpiece of the event was a street football tournament that featured 10 teams made up of professional street football players and local celebrities. The matches were intense and filled with jaw-dropping skills, including numerous pannas, and other fancy footwork. The players showcased their exceptional talent and brought the crowd to their feet with their stunning performances.

The tournament took place on the newly launched Off-Pitch Arena court, which is now available for players to use in FIFA23. This means that football enthusiasts from all over the world can now choose to play at Off-Pitch Arena from the comfort of their homes, adding a unique twist to the game.

After an exciting tournament filled with impressive skills and intense matches, Street Monsters emerged as the victors. The team's victory was secured after Mehdi Amri made history by scoring the final goal with a spectacular bicycle kick.

In addition to the tournament, attendees were treated to a Game Night where everyone got to play on the pitch in the game. Attitude Tattoo also gave away free tattoos and Downtown Barbers Oslo gave away free haircuts, among other things.

Tobias Becs, the Off-Pitch founder also made a one-of-a-kind cracked ice ball, especially for the event. The ball is being sold for €500, with all the proceeds going to Off-Pitch Project, a non-profit organization that helps build the street football community. See the ball here.
